The South East Europe Observatory was established to promote liberal thought, democratic dialogue and the pro-European ideal in an area stretching from Italy through Slovenia and Croatia to the countries of South-East Europe. The project fosters cooperation among students, institutions, academia and civil society, creating a platform for dialogue and exchange across the region.
Through international initiatives, debates, educational activities and studies, the Observatory aims to encourage critical thinking, regional collaboration and the exchange of ideas on the major political, economic and social challenges shaping the future of Europe. By creating opportunities for dialogue, education and international networking throughout this region, the Observatory seeks to strengthen democratic culture, support open societies and contribute to a more connected, resilient and inclusive Europe, particularly by engaging and empowering younger generations through projects such as the “Liberal Dialogues” series and Summer Schools
